When it comes to residential flooring, looks and comfort are most important. Carpet, for example, should be stylish and soft underfoot. We recommend cut pile carpet given its versatile looks and comfortable and luxurious textures. Other popular residential flooring options include hardwood and ceramic tile.

In homes or apartments with children or pets, stain resistance is important. Check out our selection of durable and stain resistant carpets, including Tigressa H2O. While we do not recommend hardwood in these types of settings, you can achieve similar looks with laminate or luxury vinyl planks.

As you can imagine, there are differences between commercial flooring and residential flooring. In commercial settings, durability and strength are more important than style. Loop carpets are suitable since they have harder surfaces that can handle heavy foot traffic. Porcelain tile is also recommended because it is totally waterproof and nonslip, and there also are commercial-grade luxury vinyl floors.
